Yes, and no account required! We want the core experience to always be free, supported by ads. We plan to roll out an inexpensive subscription option in the future to remove ads while also adding additional premium features.
On your phone! We also use analytics to help understand potential users and improve the experience. In the future we plan to add additional functionality that would require uploading some data (such as custom words added and aggregated to improve dictionary coverage, statistics on review sessions to improve algorithms, cloud backup, etc). Right now we don't have that feature, but we encourage you to create short descriptive sentences anyway out of any word-level flash cards instead. If you've already got a nice list of sentences and would love a quicker import feature, let us know.
Please send us your suggestions for how best we could be a part of your lessons! We'd love to add the ability for you to see your students' sentences online in the future among other things. But right now we suggest that they use Just Jide for reviewing sentences that they've confirmed are correct usage with you.
